Policy-directed Biosecurity Conferences on the Drawing Board
The Center faculty plans to host a series of invitational conferences that will focus on the areas of bioterrorism planning and preparedness which have been overlooked or poorly studied. The Center will then publish policy directed monographs based on the conferences. We anticipate that the first conference will be held in New Mexico, and at the suggestion of Dr Alan Zelicoff, it will focus on the lessons to be learned from the 1993 Hanta virus outbreak.
