Continuing Education Partnership for Disaster Preparedness
The Saint Louis University Physician Assistant Program and the Center have entered into an agreement to develop continuing educational programs which will focus on an all-hazards approach to disaster preparedness. Course content will be offered through the internet and will make extensive use of the Center’s latest set of CD’s and textual material developed by the CDC specialty center at the University of Georgia. The program is due for release by mid-summer, 2004. A prototype will be exhibited at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Physician Assistants in Las Vegas during the first week of June. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting collaboration.
