Summer

City Garden Montessori School

SLU-sponsored charter school serving youth and families in the Forest Park Southeast and surrounding neighborhoods.
What: Volunteers are needed for our Summer School programming, assisting with reading, math, special projects, outdoor fun play, and other activities for the children.
When: Now through July 3, any day Monday-Friday, anytime 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Where: 1618 Tower Grove Ave. (directions via Google Maps).

Nine Network of St. Louis

What: Volunteers are needed to assist with our Trash or Treasure fundraising event, assisting with registration, hospitality, greeting, and more!  
When: Saturday, June 22 from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 
Where: Gateway Center, #1 Gateway Dr., Collinsville (directions via Google Maps).

Signature Healthcare Foundation

What: Volunteers are needed for the annual Dragon Boat Race, an event that sees various corporations race Chinese Dragon Boats on Creve Coeur Lake all to fundraise for our organization.   
When: Saturday, June 22 anytime 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 
Where: Creve Coeur Lake (directions via Google Maps).

Smart Kids Inc.

Non-profit organization that offers after-school tutoring and homework assistance for children struggling in school.
What: Volunteers are needed a KidSmart Pop-Up event, where families, children and teachers in low-income districts can pick up free school supplies, as well as enjoy food, games and other activities.  Help with check-in, handing out supplies, food and drink serving, set-up, or take-down.
When: Wednesday, June 26 anytime Noon - 8:00 p.m.
Where: New KidSmart Location - Address TBA.

Christian Friends of New Americans

What: Volunteers are needed for our monthly free health screening for immigrants and refugees to assist with registration, and depending on the number of clients, assist the practitioners. No medical background required.
When: Saturday, July 20 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Where: Peace Center, 4019 S. Grand Blvd. (directions via Google Maps).
